Brown Aluminium Oxide is a hard, tough, and durable abrasive material made by fusing bauxite in an electric arc furnace. It consists mainly of Aluminum Oxide (Al₂O₃) with a small percentage of Titania (TiO₂) and other impurities.

Hardness: ~9 on Mohs scale
