Liquid Sodium Silicate

We are the leading manufactures, exporters, technical developers and suppliers of Liquid Sodium Silicate in Chennai, Tamil Nadu,

Sodium Silicate Neutral Liquid (commonly called water glass) is a viscous, alkaline solution made by dissolving silica (SiO₂) and soda ash (Na₂CO₃) in water. A neutral grade typically has a silica-to-soda ratio close to 3.0, making it less caustic and more stable than alkaline grades. It is valued for its adhesive, sealing, binding, fire-resistant, and chemical-resistant properties.

Uses & Applications of Sodium Silicate Neutral Liquid ️ 1. Construction & Civil Engineering
  • Concrete Hardener & Densifier: Penetrates concrete surfaces and reacts to form a harder, dust-proof layer.

  • Soil Stabilization: Injected into loose soil to increase strength and reduce permeability (e.g., tunneling, foundations).

  • Fireproofing Agent: Applied as a fire-retardant coating on steel and wood surfaces.

Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) is an inorganic compound. It is a white solid and highly caustic metallic base and alkali salt of sodium which is available in pellets, flakes, granules, and as prepared solutions at a number of different concentrations. Sodium hydroxide forms an approximately 50% (by weight) saturated solution with water. Sodium hydroxide is soluble in water, ethanol, and methanol. This alkali is deliquescent and readily absorbs moisture and carbon dioxide in air. Sodium hydroxide is used in many industries, mostly as a strong chemical base in the manufacture of pulp and paper, textiles, drinking water, soaps, detergents and as a drain cleaner. It is also used in concrete in the construction industry.
