FUMED SILICA Erosil ( Gelcoat Powder ) is used in composite materials in laminating and gelcoat applications, and provides proper rheological control, optimum shear, thinning and enhancing the end-use application. It is also used in many resins, including unsaturated polyesters, vinyl esters and epoxies. In unsaturated polyester resin-based composites, it provides rheological control in both laminating and gelcoat applications. For vinyl ester resin-based composites, it provide proper rheological control and stability.For epoxy resin-based composites, it is also recommended. It is used in a wider number of applications such as Construction (doors, bath tubs, shower stalls, sinks, synthetic marble, building panels); transportation; marine - boats, chemical storage tanks, pipelines, Cooling towers, Wind mills, and other applications.
