🔶 What is Brown Aluminium Oxide?

Brown Aluminium Oxide is a hard, tough, and durable abrasive material made by fusing bauxite in an electric arc furnace. It consists mainly of Aluminum Oxide (Al₂O₃) with a small percentage of Titania (TiO₂) and other impurities.

• Hardness: ~9 on Mohs scale

• Color: Brown

• Melting Point: ~2,050°C

• Typical Grit Sizes: F12 to F220 (macro), F240 to F1200 (micro)
